８月，神楽坂にある紀の善というお茶屋さんに行ってきた。
店の前にある食品サンプルを見るだけでテンションが上がってしまうほど美味しそうな生和菓子の数々。たくさんメニューがあって決めるのが大変でした。
その日はとにかく暑かったので，涼しげなあんずのかき氷と冷たい白玉ぜんざい，名物の抹茶ババロアを頼みました。
食べたものの紹介
抹茶ババロア（Matcha Bavarois）
ほろ苦い抹茶とクリーミーなババロアのバランスが絶妙。日本のお茶文化を感じられるデザートでした。
かき氷（Kakigōri）
ふわふわの氷にシロップがかかっていて、暑い日にぴったり。口に入れるとすぐに溶けて、爽やかさを感じました。
白玉ぜんざい（Shiratama Zenzai）
もちもちの白玉と甘いあんこが最高の組み合わせ。優しい甘さで、ほっとする味わいでした。
日本の和菓子屋さんにはカフェと異なる不思議な魅力がある気がします。
和菓子を一口食べると笑顔になり，いい1日だなと感じたりします。時間がゆっくりと流れていく感覚があるんです。そんな日本の和菓子屋さんに是非一度行ってみてください🤗
A Day at Kinozen🍵
In August, I visited a traditional Japanese tea shop called Kinonozen in Kagurazaka.
Just looking at the food samples displayed in front of the shop already made me excited—the beautiful Japanese sweets looked so delicious. With so many items on the menu, it was hard to decide what to order.
Since it was an extremely hot day, I chose a refreshing apricot shaved ice (Anzu Kakigōri), a cold Shiratama Zenzai, and their famous Matcha Bavarois.
What I Ate
- Matcha Bavarois
The balance between the slightly bitter matcha and the creamy bavarois was just perfect. It really captured the essence of Japanese tea culture. - Kakigōri (Shaved Ice)
Fluffy shaved ice topped with syrup, perfect for a hot summer day. It melted instantly in my mouth and gave me a refreshing feeling. - Shiratama Zenzai
The chewy shiratama (rice flour dumplings) and the sweet red bean paste made an excellent combination. Its gentle sweetness brought me a sense of comfort.
